JH Skincare specialises for the treatment of Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN), at our clinic in Sydenham near Croydon. We have been providing treatment for the removal of Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra for over 20 years.
The areas that are treated are the face, neck chest, torso and back, they are rarely found on the arms and legs. We use diathermy to cauterise the raised DPN lesion which then dries up, turns darker and eventually falls off, and the new skin and pigmentation return to normal after a few weeks. Small DPN lesions can be treated efficiently however, larger lesions may require further treatments. All clients will require a ½ hour Patch Test and consultation before treatment commences. Here, the treatment is explained and a treatment plan is recommended, the Patch Test involves treating a few small lesions allowing us to make sure the pigmentation returns to normal after the lesion has been removed. Aftercare is also provided and homecare is recommended.
What a happy client has said

From the very first interaction, I was impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of the team. Janis returned my initial call of inquiry about DPN removal very quickly, providing all the necessary information and patiently answering all my questions about the procedure, especially concerning black skin, aftercare, and pricing.
