The below images are of clients who have presented with multiple Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN) lesions and have received treatment for these here in the Clinic.
Each individual DPN lesion is treated using the safe technique of cauterisation (a gentle current of heat is released from a fine sterile needle tip) and, after a short healing time, these treated lesions dry and naturally fall off allowing the new skin to heal and the pigmentation to return to normal. The skin has completely healed with no irregular or hyper pigmentation, scarring or marking present but instead, beautiful clear even skin.
The Clinic always recommends Aftercare Advice for both post treatment care and continuing home care, nurturing the client for a successful outcome.
Please note that the difference in apparent skin tone between the before and after photographs is purely down to different cameras and lighting conditions, and is not a result of the treatment.
