Evening Primrose Oil

Evening Primrose Oil (EPO), obtained from the seed of the evening primrose plant, is rich in fatty acids and is one of the most miraculous discoveries to prevent many diseases and disorders.

Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) are “absolutely essential” for your diet since the body cannot manufacture these. Without them the body must try to repair and heal itself without this pivotal building block, since the body’s trillions of cells need to incorporate fat into their cellular wall.

A lack of essential fats would result in less flexible, resilient and more rapidly ageing skin cells. This is one reason why skin could begin to sag and wrinkle.

EPO is rich in fatty acids and is used as an aid for menopause and PMS as well as skin health. It also contains Gamma-linolenic Acid, which is good for eczema and rheumatoid arthritis or joint mobility.

EPO is thought to help these conditions due to its potential anti-inflammatory effects. Gamma-linolenic Acid appears to be responsible for the efficacy of Evening Primrose Oil, which helps to maintain and sustain healthy skin.
